A Primped And Pampered Mind A Poem By Bajezen.Blog 1.png

Lazy Sunday
A day I can call mine
Perhaps a mani-pedi, a facial, a little sprucing up
We all want to look to look good and take care of our bodies
Do you also pamper your mind?
Clear out the clutter of past mistakes
Wipe off that foundation that hides your layers of pain
Detox the resentment and self-loathing
Exfoliate all the wants, the yearning for what has gone and what may never come
Paint the present, make   it a kaleidoscope
Full of color, vibrant
Meditate, relish in the warmth of your breath
Express gratitude even for the most mundane things in life
Moisturize your consciousness  with positive thoughts so you can radiate good vibes
Take some moments for self-reflection
Analyse what makes you tick
Slough off the dead skinned demons
Jump start your mind with   a well-needed massage

Take  journey to your soul
Relax, rejuvenate, recharge, worry less and forgive
Experience the true wealth of a primped and pampered mind

And never forget to live!

  1. Your powerful poem inspired mine, thank you!

    THE HUMAN MIND
    the human mind
    futile or fertile
    yet both have potential
to let live or let die

    the human mind
    futile or fertile
    yet both have potential
    to be truthful or lie

    the human mind
    futile or fertile
    yet both have potential
    to build or destroy

    the human mind
    futile or fertile
    yet both have potential
    to reach for the sky

    the human mind
    futile or fertile
    yet both have potential
    latent in both, self preservation

    the human mind
    natures masterpiece
    given the power of reason
    to solve problems

    the human mind
    persistently in denial
    then realising it is wrong
by then it is too late

    the human mind
    being right in the past
    could costs it its life
correct now it could cost ours

    the human mind
    now becoming unstable
    leaders losing the plot
    past mistakes taught them not

    minds asking how long
    before the end, just
    when, and how long,
    how long have we got?
