It was fun for a while , those playful days in the sun She thought he would be the one to always make her smile Sand flowed through her fingers She wanted to build something everlasting Put her heart and soul into it An unexpected wave came in and washed it all away Tried her hardest to salvage the ruins In the end he wouldn’t stay Grains of love remained , stuck to heart and stinging her eyes The remnants of their time together Memories replaying in her mind Some people are like sandcastles They aren’t meant to stay You have fun , you cherish the moments You build a masterpiece only to have it washed away This is the story of love and life You play with the fire and get burned 1000 times Feelings cut you like a knife This is the story of love and life Everything is temporary Not everything is meant to stay You build a beautiful sandcastle only to have it washed away
On March 8th we celebrate International Women’ s Day. This years’ theme is #pressforprogress . I look forward to the day when all women can be afforded the opportunity to live up to their true potential. The day when we will not be judged or labelled for how we chose to live our lives. We all wonder women . We are all beautiful in our own right; with our unique stories and gifts. We are women, a source of unlimited resilience. Love and the utmost respect due to every female on the planet. Never let anything dull your sparkle and remember whatever you are going through. You got this boo. There is nothing that a woman can not handle. Channel your inner goddess. Equality is a right. Let no one ever make you feel unworthy because you are the giver of life. To be feminine is to be divine.
We are the mothers, the creators, the lovers The backbone of society Built to endure any strenuous task Nothing is ever impossible Never a tough ask Underestimated, abused, threatened, perceived as the weaker sex We break down all the barriers and cry out against the injustices You can not rule our bodies, our souls, our spirits, our minds By your misguided standards of beauty and intelligence, we will never be defined Empowered, We are more intense, complex and beautiful than you will ever know It’s 2018, fuck your outdated standards believes and judgments We will not be suppressed and objectified We are women. the catalysts for change A force to be reckoned with, together we stand Fueled by the fire and passion for equal rights
Rise goddesses,, unshakeable divine and full of light.
Beautiful and Blessed Too dope to be stressed These ”problems ” do not define you Tension Anxiety Frustration These are not yours to carry Those who think you are unworthy, that is all at them Don’t let them determine your levels of happy It may feel off-balance, out of whack Shit may feel heavy It is just a temporary test A lesson learned What you have lost cannot compare the bounty that is forthcoming Better days are ahead Just trust and believe.

Weighed down by burdens left unseen They were never hers to carry why couldn’t she keep the slate clean Trying to do it all like Supergirl She could never win Feeling like she was failing at life ready to throw the towel in Giving away precious energy until it eroded her soul It was all so heavy, it got too heavy holding on to the old familiar faces the things that brought her comfort but stabbed at her psyche Dull and aching She longed for a taste of a new life Feeling trapped, caged, a prisoner in her own skin When did she become tethered The lioness wanted to growl but all she could muster was a whimper It was time to start over Allow, accept, and release Face it head on She had forgotten her strength Her inner goddess unamused Clawing to break free from the mental chains Somehow she conjured the strength to rediscover the magic buried deep inside She dug deep, no more suffering, no more doubts she would no longer hide Rediscovering her purpose Redefining her goals, basking in the dysfunctional beauty of the moment she was in She would grow to love herself again
I wrote this one for anyone feeling a little dull or down because sometimes we forget our own power. The momentum that our thoughts can give us, the benefits of a few minutes of mindfulness. Sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and let it all flow.
Nothing you require is outside of yourself The energy spent seeking approval from others Pour it inward Your body: Move it Dance for no reason Your mind: Nourish it Read, focus on good thoughts Your spirit : Elevate it. Pray. Meditate. Manifest. Love The eternal effervescence ripples through your body You are everything The world teaches you to forget Ignore it Put together the broken pieces Play with the demons make them work for you Being happy and radiating love is your divine responsibility Cultivate an unshakeable vibe Believe everything is always right on time Be the light. Find your fire. Vibe bright Written By Tachira Wiltshire
Resentment, regret they build up Layers and years of disappointments are parasites that feed on your core You can only hold on to it for so long before it wears you down Steals your inner peace The anger bubbles and it’s hard to control the beast Bitter, when did life become such a bitter pill You look in the mirror and you wonder where did the happy smiling version of you go Everything is dark and it all feels like hell You just don’t want to exist anymore Your burdens are crushing, your mind is a minefield There is no safe haven, no hand to hold Experiences, people have changed you until you become someone you used to know You have lost your sparkle, let them dull your shine until you have nothing left to show Depleted and drained It hurts too much to feel The very thing you are are holding on to is the thing you need to let go A cavity, an empty space, feeling hollow.
Sticking with the romance or as one of my readers said Fifty shades theme. I never finished the books. Anna annoyed me. I think maybe we all want someone to accept us as we are. Completely.
Quiet and unassuming The unexpected stallion rode her rugged Dominant, dark and intense she felt him to her core Tied up, stripped down Relentless passion He was her master She whispered ”Yes sir ” I want to fulfill your every desire ” He possessed her mind, body, and soul.
I was always a fan of trashy romance novels. I suppose all women need that little bit of imaginative spice in their lives; that heart pounding, bliss-inducing electricity these stories always describe. One part fiction, one part real life. My attempt at that dabbling with that romance novel vibe.
” What’s life without a little risk”? he whispered She begged him to go but as he drew nearer her heart slammed against her chest I hate everything about you she taunted He drew her nearer and she quivered as if she was haunted She lost all her reasoning as he gently sampled her lips Heat flooded her body as his kisses grew more intense Piercing and electric His touch was her kryptonite He persisted, she resisted He not only ravished her body but he lay claim to part of soulful essence that night.
In pursuit of the perfect life? Don’t hold your breath At the end of it, all the years seems like seconds a ripple in time Do you really want to waste your essence steeped in despair? Most days it feels as if you merely blink and like magic the hours disappear Don’t be on your deathbed and lament that you never really experienced life Seize the moments, make the best of it Ditch the bitchin and celebrate the fact that you are alive.
The rules only seem not apply to some Puzzling and frustrating are the inequities of this life Some can find a loophole in any sticky situation They just live to stir the pot and cause nothing but strife The dream and the goal is the pursuit of equality A celebration of what is fair and just To live in world where only good flourishes and no one has to struggle to survive Where kindness is automatic and we appreciate the value of every life We live in faith and hope that one day the suffering will all be gone It all started with dream and today the dream still lives on
