Set Yourself Free : Take A Deep Breath And Let It Go



Some days we get so wound up and bent out of shape about things. Things are not going our way or so we think.  Someone was rude and put us in a pissy mood.  The rain poured, you got dumped, the wax lady messed up your eyebrows (maybe that would be a tragedy). All things we have absolutely no control over. 

 In life there are celebrations and triumphs and then well sometimes there is stuff that literally makes you feel like shit. Think about it though, what did your fret or complain about yesterday? Is it still relevant today? Was it something you could change? If not you already have the answer right there. Let It Go. If it does not bring you peace let it go.

Let’s consider how quickly time is flying I mean life is literally passing us by. I swear it was just Christmas wasn’t it? How do you want to spend this life .? In a constant state of worry, regret, guilt, anxiety?  As my therapist told me, I call her my therapist she is really a soul sister ”Tachira you got this one life.   Get out of your head. It isn’t that serious. Let it Go! 

Whatever you have lost will be replaced by something better. Whatever is seemingly without a solution will be solvedIt is always working out in your favour; even when it does not seem that way. So have a drinkeat some cake, binge-watch a show, go to the beach, ravish your lover, hug your mama, cry, drop an f-bomb or several whatever it takes to get you in a good place. 

This one life is what we were given to live joyfully, passionately. It may be a mess sometimes but it’s your mess.  I firmly believe there is a flip side a bright side, a lesson in everything. Take a deep breath, laugh it off, cry it out; whatever you do. Just let all of the bullshit go.  So I wrote this one for anyone who feels stuck or heavy laden. Remember you can get through anything. You are a badass. You are beautiful and blessed, way too awesome to be stressed. Stay in your magic. Give your soul a break and let it go.

Celebrate what you are
Seize the power of the present

Sunday Soul- Food : Expressing Gratitude In Trying Times

Thanksgiving is typically associated with expressing gratitude. I believe we do not need a season to be grateful. Life can sometimes be like a dark cloud hanging over our heads. Those days are not pleasant but are an absolute necessity in life.On gloomy days we can find some of our best inspiration.

Hard times teach us to be strong and to keep trying. We can be surrounded by the darkest of nights and somehow we manage to step forward into the unknown guided only by our faith. Be grateful for the moments that test you they will teach you patience.Your problems teach you how to be ingenious and cm up with solutions. There is nothing in life that you can not overcome. There is no yin without yang, no light without darkness. The next time you are going through a trying period; remember it won’t last forever and there is always something to be grateful for. You are doing your best and that really is all that matters.
