Glaring omissions

Glaring Omissions A poem by Bajezen.Blog1

In her heart she knew he would never be the one

His stories were always filled with glaring omissions

Taunted by doubts , she became a woman obsessed

Investigator mode kicked in

Proving his infidelity  would be her ultimate mission

One day she found out what she had feared the most

His declarations of love  haunted her like an ancient ghost

Confrontations ,accusations resentment building inside

She gave up everything to keep this guy

Betrayed and broken

She was dying inside

Her pain was too overwhelming to hide

Losing herself was too high a price to pay

She set fire to that bridge and walked away
