What is your favourite outdoor activity?

Walking, running playing at the beach. I like collecting shells and building sand castles (well trying to). Being at the beach helps clear my mind and make me appreciate the simple things in life.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?

Well, I can’t drive I think that automatically makes me a passenger. I honestly enjoy being driven everywhere. That may be a bit of laziness on my part.

If you could have three wishes granted to you alone, what would they be?

To see without glasses
A week with no chores whatsoever
To travel for free

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Well, to be honest, I was not feeling quite inspired this week. I appreciate the fact that I got to take a nap and relax on Sunday. A nap feels like winning the lottery when you have a toddler.

Would you want $200,000 right now or $250,000 in a year? It’s safe to assume all money is tax-free.

If I can have it now yes give me the $200,000 which is actually double in Barbados 🙂 I am already making my plans for it. I got laid off so this would definitely help.

Is it more important to love or be loved?

I would say it’s 50-50. Love is a wonderful thing.  One-sided love, however, is not. I don’t think we should have to choose. To love and be loved is our main purpose in life. It should never be a one-way street. I think everyone deserves some form of love in their life.

List things that represent abundance to you.

A comfortable home
A solid family environment
Having the financial  means to travel to wherever I want to go
Good Health
A great circle of friends
Great meals
The ability to be able to relax and not worry about anything. To have inner peace.

Being able to inspire people

What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?

I like wearing orange it makes me feel bright and bubbly. I tend to buy most clothing in black or white though. They go with everything.

What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)

This question brought to mind Underdog. A cartoon from my childhood. I remember laughing hysterically as soon as it came on. He used to say there is no need to fear. Underdog is here .

Yesterday I was speaking to one of the workers at the local grocery store. He was telling me about a guy he met in Ethiopia who had no fingers but still managed to create the most beautiful artwork. We agreed that we tend to make excuses to stop us from pursuing anything or truly living life to the fullest. Really we have no excuses as they are people who are disabled or chronically ill that do not let that hinder their progress in life.

I also loved this quote from my Plum Deluxe Newsletter.

When you leave a room, do you turn the lights off behind you or keep the lights on throughout your house most of the time?

I mostly like being in the dark. I usually turn off the lights when I leave the room. I am no longer afraid of the dark like when I was younger.

What do you feel is the most enjoyable way to spend $500?

The best way to spend money is making memories. I would take a trip or do a staycation. I just love the beach and relaxing there. So I would rent a beach house and go off the grid for a few days. Take lots of pics and just relax.

Complete this sentence: My favorite thing to do on my cell phone is…

Listen to music and motivational recordings

My Monday night inspiration is always American Ninja Warrior. The stories, the challenges; everything just highlights how far you can go when you put your mind to something, work hard and never give up!

I am also always inspired by my Hay House newsletters. They always remind me of what is important.

What was the last URL that you bookmarked or saved?
This is the last bookmark I have saved as I like to check the tides before I head to the beach . I love the water but having nearly drowned in the past ; I like to stay away from rough waters . It is actually pretty accurate I have been using it for a few months now .

Do you believe in the afterlife? Reincarnation?
Since I know that we have a spirit I do believe in life after death . I don’t think earth is our final destination . As they say everything is energy . So we can take different forms and shapes . I suppose that is why there is Deja vu . Some moments you feel like you have just experienced before or feel like you have been here before .deja-vu

If you were or are a writer do you prefer writing short stories, poems or novels?
I write . Does that really make a writer ?

Hahaha . Right now I prefer writing poems . It would be awesome to write a novel someday though .

What inspired you this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I often find quotes on Pinterest . This one inspired me not because of the great art work but also because things are a bit of a hot mess now . Even though things are not going the way we would like we still have to find the good and make the best of life .

Have a great week . Love and Blessings

If you had to have your vision corrected would you rather: glasses or contacts? Or what do you use if you need to have your vision corrected?

My vision has never been the best. I have been wearing glasses since I was five years old. I have astigmatism. When I was about 14 I decided to get contacts to look less ”nerdy”. I could not get soft contacts because of the condition so I was stuck with the hard ones. Let me tell you, those things were uncomfortable. Once one fell out I was a mess. Not to mention having to master taking them out without poking out my eyes. I gave up my beauty over comfort delusion two years later. Right now I have floaters in my left eye. I am content to live with my less than perfect eyesight. I have gotten used to it. It’s specs till I die.

Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?

I am more of a dog person. I say this because I have never had a cat as a pet. There are plenty of strays in the area. It amuses me how they sound like they are having a convo when they are doing their mating calls. I like the fact that I can bathe a dog to keep their fur fresh. They are so cute and cuddly.

If you were to buy a new house/apartment what is the top three items on your wish list?

The house would have to be close to the ocean so I can listen to the waves and get that fresh ocean air whenever I want.

No noisy neighbours. My current neighbours just are too loud at the most inconvenient times. Like doing construction work at 10 pm or having the radio extra loud. They have the cutest little dog but unfortunately, he barks incessantly.

A big back yard so that I can grow my own herbs and have a hammock. They just look so relaxing.Oh and maybe a small pond with fish.

List some of your favourites types of teas.

To be honest I am more of a coffee kinda girl. It’s only after my pregnancy and I  could not really drink coffee that I developed a love for tea. I love red raspberry tea, lemon and ginger, peppermint and chamomile. Oh, I almost forgot chai tea. The possibilities are endless with this one :)). Here is what I am currently drinking.

What  are  a couple of things could people do for you on a really bad day that would really help you?

Just a word of encouragement would be appreciated. Taking me for a drive to clear my head and bringing me food. My favourite treats always help with the bad

Irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility: If you could be an athlete what would  you do?

I would most definitely be a gymnast. I love their grace and agility. I love the outfits the routines and the fact they make it look so effortless. Strength, agility and grace. They make me appreciate the human body and how beautiful movement can be.Oh, I wish I was a gymnast 🙂

If you had to describe your day as a traffic sign, what would it be?

No Parking sign. Today has been full steam ahead since I jumped out of bed at 6.30 am. A day full of chores and one cranky toddler. Non-stop . No parking.

What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful for the rain. It was a blessing to have some cool weather for a bit. This week is going to be a busy one. I look forward to having some downtime and catching up on my summer shows.
